the problem is that people don’t stay on the points system their whole life. If they did then all the people that do WW would be sucessful. Few cases they are but most cases they put the weight back on. You are missing the point she is trying to make.

I used Positive Mind techniques 25 years ago and took off 85 lbs and kept it off all these years. Feeling it is the important part in the visualization. Don’t think about how it effects your attractiveness, but how it feels to be freer and lighter. I think I have to write a book. I’ve taken this for granted too long.

I’ve decided to go onto the WW points diet. And it works. I’ve lost a huge amount in only 2 weeks (3/4 of a stone). Your ENTIRE theory is flawed because it’s based on a diet having a start, middle & end. A diet should be a lifestyle change, for life. Not for 6 weeks, etc. Also, the idea that “thin people” have a different psychology is nuts. The points diet does what you say, stops you overeating. Just enjoy food, proportioned according to your body type.

They DO work, if you do them properly.

wow, your advice really is amazing and very inspirational. a breath of fresh air in a world where people just tell you not to eat anything other than celery!
and very right about making that change and living as if you are thin from now, i think everyone should listen to that and do it!

I have experienced everything you described about diet backlash. EXACTLY how you described it.
I’ve been doing the same yo yo thing for about 8 years. And I’m only 19…

I don’t think I can live as that ‘thin person’ I want to be because I know I am not that person right now

The part where you talk about the diet backlash is and binge eating is due to the law of attraction. if you say I don’t want those foods or i cant eat those foods then you will get those cravings and fail, if you say to your self i want healthy foods and think about healthy choices then your body and mind will crave them- coming from a junkfood junky- i’ve lost 10lbs in a week by changing my thought process… do you control your mind or does it control you?
