    the low libido thingy sounds about right. testosterone is kept in fats, so low fats will decrease sex drive.

    *to answer your first question, people are wrongly informed about sugar… they aren’t feeding their children the right kinds of foods, and that’s why they’re fat. most fat children have fat parents… and alot of people are using formulas which have added sugar.

    *the cheapest foods to buy are the junkiest foods to buy.. they’re loaded with sugar, and “calories” (calories don’t really matter at all if you’re eating the right foods) that’s your second answer..

    Look at breast milk its full of fat and saturated fats and high in calories yet we don’t question if that is healthy. In-fact breast milk is better than baby formula that has fake chemicals and sugars in it. This man has it right.

    hey buddy,. finding a good protein powder is important. look for one thats low in sugar, has lots of BCAAs (branch chain amino acids) and uses whey or egg protein isolate and not soy as a main protein. hope this helps.

    lots of misinformation on this thread…hope people form opinions from credible sources and reputable studies and not from people who’s source of validation is their ability to CAPITALIZE words. Oh wow! larger words, ergo it must be true!!

  10. ObesityMyth says:

    @Getalis

    Your beloved and incorrect caloric model of obesity fails to explain the following data:

    *WHY we now have a worldwide epidemic of obese 6 month olds

    *WHY we have extreme poverty ( lack of calories) and obesity going hand in hand in the same population.

    Until you can explain this – SHUT IT.

    Calories are only one variable in ob esity amoung dozens upon dozens. To focus on calories at the exclusion of all else is psuedoscience.

  11. Getalis says:

    @MncDssctn

    Fat cannot be converted into glucose to any appreciable extent, and protein conversion diverts it from more important uses.

    The body cannot “learn” to perform chemical conversions that are basically impossible. Do you even know what you’re talking about?

  12. Getalis says:

    @ObesityMyth

    Anyone who doesn’t understand the relevance of thermodynamics to what causes obesity has no clue what they are talking about.

    I suggest you stop playing pattycakes with Dr. Eades and find a reputable source of information. This measure will help you *not* look like a total tool in future YouTube comments. :-)

  13. ObesityMyth says:

    Anyone who evokes thermodynamics in an obesity discussion has NO CLUE WTF they are talking about.

    I suggest you, Getalis, look at Dr. Michael Eades blog where thermopdynamics is explained by an actual PhD in that area.

    You have it completely wrong.

    @MncDssctn
    How am I wrong….you just agreed with me lol.

  17. MncDssctn says:

    Wrong. If you don’t eat enough sugar for your brain your body produces them by itself, google gluconeogenesis. But since almost all of us eat carbs all of our lives our bodies isn’t used to that process, so if you cut carbs then you can feel “slow” for a while, but after about a month your body has learned the method to convert fat and protein to the sugar your brain needs, and then your brain will be as sharp as it was when you ate lots of carbs.

  18. torifan2 says:

    Yeah i just think that it flat doesen’t satisfy you. I need to eat man!…(smile) and High Protein/Low Carb does it for me best.

  19. MyTemporaryAccount88 says:

    My diet is simple. Cut sugary snacks candy etc-consumption in half, add vegetables to as much as possible, a glass of water before eating anything, eat only healthy foods in front of the TV, and if I want to eat some cookies or whtvr, I eat a sandwich with vegetables on, wait 15 minutes, and most often forget about the cookies or whtvr.

    Simple, slow, healthy diet.

  20. deliight says:

    that thing u said about talking about food and reading recipes is so true.. the body and brain want food soo bad and its the only thing u can think about if u starve urself

  21. deliight says:

    weightwatchers is stupid..

  22. mohammad112388 says:

    The low carb, high fat, high protein diet is stupid as well. Your brain runs off carbs and anything lower than 75 g a day…you will feel stupid slow, and generally more tired. Its all about cals in vs cals out. I eat 3000 calories a day….and that never changes. If I want to bulk…workout 3 times a week intense and short. Losing weight….workout 6 days a week combination of cardio and weight training and the fat melts off, and little to no muscle lose (sometimes a slight increase).

  23. ReflectionEternal2 says:

    Depends on what you eat.

    If you eat insulin-spiking grains, sugars, or too much fruit (note the emphasis on TOO MUCH) then your body will store the calories as fat as opposed to burning it.

    That will cause bad problems for your body that I don’t care to explain within 500 characters.

  24. torifan2 says:

    Weight Watchers and other diets like it are a lie, Atkins is awesome. Different strokes for different folks but I know plenty of poeple that went on those diets and lost, but NEVER kept it off. I am anything but pre occupied with food on Atkins…It’s the truth wev’e been waiting for.
